How it started
Last fall, I had the honor of photographing Kirra and Todd’s beautiful wedding, an event filled with love, joy, and unforgettable moments. From the serene atmosphere of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church to the breathtaking sunset photos at Trump Hotel, every moment was a testament to their deep connection and shared passions.
The day began at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, where soft lighting and a four-piece orchestra set a serene tone for the wedding mass. The gentle melodies enhanced the atmosphere, adding an extra layer of emotion to Kirra and Todd’s vows. As a photographer, capturing the soft, ambient light and the intimate moments between the couple during the ceremony was a truly inspiring experience.

After the heartfelt ceremony, we embarked on a journey aboard a party bus to Lake Las Vegas and Ethel M Chocolate Factory. The bus buzzed with excitement as Kirra, Todd, and their guests shared laughter and anticipation for the celebrations ahead. These candid moments of pure joy were a joy to capture, reflecting the couple’s infectious happiness.
One of the highlights of the day was capturing the stunning rooftop sunset photos at Trump Hotel. Against the backdrop of the golden hour sky, Kirra and Todd radiated happiness and love. Their genuine smiles and tender embraces made for some of the most memorable shots of the day. It was a privilege to witness and document such a magical moment in their journey together.
Playful and heartfelt reception
During the reception, Kirra’s mom delivered a touching toast that celebrated Kirra’s dedication to her childhood dream of becoming a Catholic school teacher. Her words resonated with everyone present, emphasizing Kirra’s kind heart and Todd’s supportive presence in her life. Todd’s family also expressed profound joy and pride as they welcomed Kirra into their fold, highlighting the unity and love that defined the day.
Reflecting on Kirra and Todd’s wedding, what struck me most was their unwavering love and their shared passion for Disney, often expressed through their playful “to infinity and beyond” motto. As a photographer, capturing these unique aspects of their relationship was incredibly fulfilling. Each photo not only told a story but also encapsulated the essence of their love and the joyous spirit of the day.
